Synopsis
Fereshteh studies and works in a printer’s in Tehran. What her parents do not know is that she also has an illegitimate daughter of two months. When her father and mother announce a surprise visit, Fereshteh must quickly hide her baby. With the help of her friend Atefeh, she throws herself into an odyssey through the city that will turn out to be full of obstacles.

Biography
Ali Asgari was born in Tehran, Iran. He studied cinema in Italy. Two of his short films, More Than Two Hours (2013) and The Silence(2016), were in competition at Cannes Film Festival and The Baby premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2014. Disappearance, his first feature film, was selected at Venice 2017. In 2022 Until Tomorrow was at the Berlinale and in 2023 Terrestrial Verses, co-directed with Alireza Khatami, was at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section.
