Lucio has not obtained a university teaching position and feeling bitter, he returns to the outskirts of Buenos Aires, where he was born, to work as a supply teacher in a class of marginalized children. Lucio’s father has also worked for some time in the neighbourhood in support of the community. When a scandal breaks out over drug trafficking in the school, Lucio and some pupils find themselves involved, with a sequence of adrenaline-boosting events, in a violent feud between two corrupt politicians: the present-day mayor and the drug lord, El Perro.
