Synopsis
Khadiga, a young 18-year-old mother, ends up alone with her new-born baby, as her husband has gone to work in a city a long way away. One day, like many others, as she walks in the chaos of the Cairo streets, she feels increasingly uncomfortable in the environment surrounding her.

Biography
Morad Mostafa is an Egyptian director. He was born in Cairo in 1988. Initially he worked as assistant director on several independent films and collaborated as executive producer on Souad by Ayten Amin, in the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival 2020 and the Berlinale 2021. Morad wrote and directed the short films Henet Ward (2020) and What We Don’t Know About Mariam (2021); both had their world premieres at the Festival of Clermont-Ferrand and were subsequently selected for many important international festivals, winning more than 30 awards.
