Synopsis
The adolescent Luthando wants to know her body better. But she cannot find any particularly useful information on the Internet or in magazines. In a video call, Jodie, her best friend, encourages her to continue her journey of discovery. An entertaining coming of age film of a teenager exploring the mechanisms of personal pleasure to understand what becoming a woman means.

Biography
Sandulela Asanda is a South African filmmaker with a background in Law and Economics. She holds an Honours degree in film from AFDA Film School in Cape Town. Sandulela is the winner of the second edition of The Pitch South Africa Short Film competition. Her first professionally produced short, Mirror Mirror, recently had its world premiere in Shorcuts at Toronto IFF 2022 and Euopean première in Generation14plus at Berlinale 2023. Sandulela is currently writing her debut feature, Black Burns Fast. She is an alumna of the Locarno Film Festival’s Basecamp, the Durban Film Mart and Realness African Screenwriter’s Residency.
