Synopsis
Abdel is a great daydreamer. He lives in a small Moroccan town with his overbearing mother, his father who has given everything up and his four sisters. Fascinated by Brazil, he teaches samba and falls madly in love with Maria, the star of a soap opera on TV. In the village, everyone calls him Abdelinho. When a fundamentalist Muslim television preacher comes to town and begins to thunder against all expression of freedom, Abdelinho’s life and that of the whole town will be turned upside-down.
