Lounge activities

AAA usher required!

You will be in charge of welcoming the public in the different cinemas where the screenings will take place and managing the info points at the entrance.

It is necessary to be hospitable, friendly and ready to face unforeseen situations and, above all, very knowledgeable about everything related to programming. You will be in direct contact with our audience and therefore represent the very face of the Festival.

This activity is mainly carried out in the afternoons and evenings (afternoon shift 2.00 p.m.-6.00 p.m. / evening shift 6.00 p.m.-10.00 p.m.), as well as in the mornings for screenings for schools only (9.00 a.m.-1.00 p.m.).

Guest reception

Get ready to experience a real journey!
Every year, guests from all over the world come to the Festival. Your mission will be to be a point of reference for guests throughout their stay at the Festival, from the first reception at the airport to the screenings in the auditorium. Thanks to you they can also get to know Milan.

A manager will supervise each activity, following a daily schedule.

Indicatively, the commitment will be from morning to evening (not continuous), depending on the guests’ schedules. A good knowledge of foreign languages (English, French, Spanish and/or Arabic) is required for this activity.

It is not a question of interpreting, but of conversing and talking more simply with our guests, establishing a convivial and spontaneous relationship.

Photographic documentation

Do you have a camera?
Do you like documenting cultural events and taking portraits of filmmakers? Do you like to collect images of spectators waiting at the cinema box office, browsing through the programme or dreaming in front of the screen in the cinema? Are you just waiting to move around the organisational backstage of a festival, documenting its frenzy in pictures? Then this is the activity for you!

You will have the opportunity to follow the events of the festival with the specific task of narrating it through photography.

A small working team will be formed, coordinated by an internal Festival manager, and the activities will be organised according to a calendar of daily appointments in the various locations.
