Matteo Tortone | Italy, France, Switzerland | 2021 | 86'
Jorge leaves the outskirts of Lima and his family to seek fortune in a goldmine, following the promise of the mother lode. In a journey which takes on many omens, where reality and magic thought are confused, the myth of richness is built up on a sacrifice with increasingly concrete outlined, whilst the borders between victims and perpetrators become blurred and confused.
