Synopsis
In post-revolution Cairo, after several failed attempts to flee the widespread depression of her contemporaries, Nour, a young woman aged 29, secretly organizes her departure from her country. A few hours before her departure, she loses her passport and a calvary starts for her that will take her once again to fight a patriarchal and corrupt society.

Biography
Ahmed Abdelsalam directs films, advertisements and music videos, and is based in Cairo. He first graduated in Mass Communication and Media Arts and then did a post-graduate degree in Film Directing at the MetFilm School in London. Cai-Ber, his debut short film, was selected at the 2021 El Gouna Film Festival and for the Festival of Clermont-Ferrand. He currently divides his time between Cairo and London, and is working on several different projects, including films, music videos and television shows.
