Lunana: a Yak in the Classroom

Ugyen, a young teacher from the capital of Bhutan, wants to emigrate to Australia and realise his dream of being a musician. Bound by a government contract for one more year, he is sent to the most remote school in the world, in the village of Lunana, without the comforts he is used to and without the minimum tools necessary for teaching. Here, amidst the imposing mountains, lives a community that cherishes the ancient tradition of worshipping the yak, a large Asian mammal, and Ugyen does not know what the future holds for him.
